The (All New) Ambergate Carnival Evening Session

This year we have 2 Evening Session(s) - More about the Friday Night Blues Session Here, but for Saturday....

Live rock music & DJs to round off the carnival with a bang on Saturday 11th July in The Hurt Arms Grounds.

Rebel TerritoryThis year Ambergate Carnival are proud to venture into new (Rebel) Territory in putting on a great night of live music and DJs. We're really excited to be showcasing a couple of excellent local bands – Rebel Territory and The Fossils.

Rebel TerritoryThe super talented, young, up-and-coming rock trio Rebel Territory will be headlining with their own brand of brash original contemporary Brit-Rock. Rebel Territory feature the awesome super-charged guitar playing of Lee Zajciw along with bassist James Oldrini and drummer Sean Skinner forming a tight unit who bring classic rock influences well into the 21st century. They'll be playing the best of their own material along with a dash of contemporary rock covers. Have a look at their Myspace page for more information.

Also, village heroes The Fossils will be playing a set covers chock full of favourites – raging from tunes by the Stones to more up to date numbers by Scissor Sisters and Blur. Make sure you're ready to sing along to some great party tunes.

In between and after the sets we'll be having a number of DJs – including some spinning yer actual original vinyl singles from the 70s and 80s (a bit of soul/funk/disco/punk/new-wave/elctro/80s-pop action there!
