This site has been set up by the Ambergate Carnival Committee to promote the annual Carnival in the village of Ambergate.

The Carnival Committee arranges events throughout the year aimed at bringing the community together. This includes Quiz nights, Carol Singing, Sports Days, Village walks and band nights, as well as the Carnival Week itself. All residents of Ambergate and the surrounding areas are encouraged to take part or attend.

We also celebrate the region by printing our own calendar and Christmas cards that depict life in the village through photographs taken by the committee and other contributors. Our aim is to give back to the community any profits from the events. Two past examples being the funding of disabled access to the Methodist Schoolroom and a donation to the Senior Citizens lunch club.
